# Configuring Tenant-Level Settings for Microsoft Teams

## **Role of the Microsoft 365 Administrator**

As a Microsoft 365 admin, you control **organization-wide Teams settings** that affect:

* How **users and guests** access Teams.
    
* What **features and capabilities** they can use.
    
* How **meetings, apps, and reports** are managed.

## **Main Organization-Level Settings in Teams Admin Center**

### 1\. **Guest Access**

* **Definition:**  
    Lets **external users** (guests) join Teams chats, calls, meetings, and channels with **limited** access to other resources.
    
* **Admin controls:**
    
    * Enable or disable guest access entirely.
        
    * Restrict guest access by **allowed or blocked domains**.
        
    * Choose which Teams features guests can use (chat, meetings, calling, etc.).

* **Purpose:**
